Biography:	Born in Baghdad, Iraq, 1953 -B.A French language, College of Arts, Baghdad. -Diplomas in Spanish, Italian and German languages. -Worked under the supervision of the prominent Iraqi artist Naziha Selim,a student of Fernand Leger.Also worked at the College of Arts studio with the pioneer artist Khalid Jadir. -Worked as an art designer 1980-2000 -Held 2 solo exhibitions in Iraq and in Jordan. -Participations in exhibitions in Canada,Dubai, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. -Accomplished a mural for the Red Cross, Baghdad,1994. -Established Dijla Art Gallery in Baghdad, 1997 -Has a studio in Dubai and Jordan.
Statement:	The love of art grew with me since my wake of life. i would describe it as a reflection of my spontanious self being indulged in a world of fantasy and happy dreams. The harmony, the contrast and my passion for creating a painting of unusual blend of colours is an ultimate joy.
