"Hip Hop has a category called
"Conscious". If fine art had this same denomination, that's where my
work would be. I believe artists are some of the most conscious,
observant, and reflective people of our time. And currently our present
time is demanding more than a pretty picture to hang on the wall from
its art community. Our world needs art that reflects what its people
are going through, and suggests creative solutions and new perspectives.
Through my current work, I strive to be conscious and inspire
consciousness."-Lindsay Carron

| | Biography: | Lindsay
Carron is an art activist based in Los Angeles. Through her extensive
travels throughout South and Middle America, Lindsay has been inspired
to use art to bridge cultural gaps, raise questions, and have a profound
impact on those around her. The grit and decay of reality inspire her,
often leading her to places others wouldn't approach. This causes her
art to be raw with perception. Lindsay is currently co-founder and
artist of Board Well, on the production team and exhibiting at
nationally recognized Fountain Art Fair, teaching art activism workshops
for kids, and showing her art in galleries around Los Angeles,
California.
