| | Statement: |
I am a treasure hunter and seeker of light and beauty. I am sensitive to the emotional response I have to nature and the energy of light, color, transparency, and shadow. I am a seeker of a momentary heightened state of awareness. I live in a world of dichotomy: the man made world of technology and manufactured conveniences, and the world of nature. In my art I am an illusionist and painter of reality and dreams, metaphors and poetic feelings. I paint still life with a desire to create art that is visually stimulating as well as thought provoking. |
