| | Biography: | Tatiyana Kraevskaya was born in a small town in Moldova. She was surrounded by the rich heritage of Moldovan songs, poetry, and art. Tatiyana learned to appreciate this beauty. She would spend hours after school sculpting figurines out of modeling clay and illustrating books that she read. Tatiyana met the requirements to enter the Children's Art School. She studied drawing, painting, composition, and the history of art. Two years later, Tatiyana Kraevskaya began studying at an art college. After graduation, she began working as a high school art teacher. Tatiyana chose to continue her education at the VGIK in Moscow, Russia, spending six productive years in the art department. The next professional step for here was a movie costume and set designer. She also did some work for the theaters, gave private art lessons and showed her paintings at art exhibitions. In December 1999 she became a citizen of the USA. Tatiyana Kraevskaya is a member of the American Society of Artists and the National Association of Women Artists. Her paintings are in museums & private art collections.
