Textures, patterns, earthy colors and bold geometric design are the focus of my art. You can see the interplay of nature and imagination in my designs and the materials I use. I enjoy marrying the cold hard edge of the industrial world with the soft earthy organic resources of nature. I love using a variety of media together to create harmony, yet adding an element of surprise. Each one-of-a-kind piece transcends its history of form and function, and becomes an expression my meditative process.

Biography:	Robin Przybysz has been involved in the arts both in teaching art and in creating her own work. Although her early career was primarily involved with painting and drawing, she has expanded her art into textiles, weaving, sculptural gourds, basketry, and jewelry. She receives pubic and private attention with both galleries and collectors. As a professional, Robin has created her works primarily for herself. Her works come from her private world and become a gift to all who choose to walk in it. They speak of poetry and passions of all those private moments most of us seldom share, but always hold dear.
Statement:	The intimacy of the sculptural vessels goes beyond works that deal primarily with traditional craftsmanship and functional qualities associated with this art form. I love keeping the pieces more primitive, more raw, so that the work reflects my emotions without disguise. My work transcends its own history of form and function and begins to reflect the meditative process I go through in creating my work. The results are an experience of quiet ceremony.
