Inspired by her children and students’ art work, Reema saw the potential
to capture a moment in time. Cherishing her child’s work, while
remembering what they look like at that moment. A line image is drawn on
glass by Reema, while using the young artist’s work as a background.
Then, in the right lighting conditions, the line image creates the
shadow, a “Floating Image”. With the right light staging, the effect
is dramatic and eye catching.

| Biography: | Reema Zoumut is an
enthusiastic ARTIST and 22 years instructor (10 yrs in private sch., 12
yrs. in the public sch., 5 yrs with the City of Corona- on Sat.) . who
is passionate about all the media in art and working with young people
helping students understand their own artistic potential.

-Since 2005, my little business, "Ms. Z's Fine Art Studios" services the
City of Corona and has Saturday Morning art workshops for 5 to 12 year
olds in Corona, Ca.
-And starting Oct 2010, will be having Monday afternoon watercolor
workshops @ Valencia Terrance (my new location)

| Statement: | My latest series
of artworks are based from shadow boxes, watercolor and color line on
glass, the Floating Image - a shadow line trapped between two different
surfaces. Inspired by her children and students' art work, I saw the
potential to capture a moment in time. Cherishing my child's work, while
remembering what they look like at that moment. A line image is drawn
on glass by me, while using the young artist's work as a background.
Then, in the right lighting conditions, the line image creates the
shadow, a "Floating Image". The moment is captured... Caught in the Act.
