Description: "Liquid Portal" is a unique view from the inside of this crushing wave
looking out. Taken in Southern California, this image gives a portal
view of this small beach town. Laguna is known for its clear water and
beautiful coves. This one wave broke incredibly swallow. Breaking in
2ft. of water is how this oval shape is formed. Very dangerous and
beautiful.

| | Biography: | Larry Beard's love for the ocean and art started at an early age. This love brought him into competitive surfing where he thrived as a amateur winning over thirty events. He also took classes and produced avery abstract style of art. Larry went on to surf the US Pro Tour for 10 years. In the mean time, Larry received a "Real" world education in marketing and design. Being a part of 14 different start-up businesses has given Larry a unique insight to all attributes of being an artist and a business man. Larry later jumped into fashion photography and has worked with many top clothing companies. But the love of the ocean is always calling, and Larry began shooting beach, sunset, and other landscape photography. Getting in the water to shot was paramount to Larry to get another level of participation and unique angle. This has drawn a fan base because of the dramatic imagery Larry captures.
