Artist Information
The sculptures of Joseph E. Moscoso are a study of synchronized glassworks. Inspiration for his works greatly relate to his personal experiences with nature, structure, and intuition of line, balance, symmetry and it's interaction with our surroundings. This Spanish born artists was training in the glazing industry in his late teens. The method in which the art is created is by a process of cutting polishing, etching, chipping, carving and even breaking. The work becomes a part of his futuristic self and a reflection of thoughts of the past.
His fascination with glass as an art medium allows him the opportunity to enhance out environments both architecturally and esthetically. The compelling works of art are designed to invite participation. They are neither lyrical nor narrative. They transcend a message to the viewer in it's mass title. They are physical objects in which a feeling is forever frozen. It is now up to us to relate our experiences and thoughts to appreciate it's magnitude and content.Joseph also invites you to share your personal experiences to allow him to create upon your passion. |
