Biography:	Bobnick is an award winning illustrator and portrait artist having produced illustration for national advertising agencies, corporations and publishers for over 30 years. Dick's specialties are realistic portrayals of celebrities in film, sports, religion and history. He is also a vintage aircraft artist and creates action-adventure art for book covers and movie posters. His movie and television subject matters have been produced by the Franklin Mint and many other collectibles producers nationally and internationally. In addition he has entered the realm of glamor and pinup art having won awards for his figurative art in major competitions. Dick also accepts private portrait and boudoir portrait commissions based on the clients own photographs or photos he is able to take on site in the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis-St.Paul. Again, his specialties are family, pets and pinup figurative subject matters.
Statement:	"I try to capture the unique indefinable "look" of the celebrities I paint and I always research my subject matters in great detail to insure accuracy."

Career:	For the first 25 years Dick was a staff illustrator and then lead illustrator with four major graphic arts studios in Minneapolis before going on his own in 1990 to pursue specific accounts geared to his favorite subject matters. Then, deciding to strike out on his own in 1990, he opened his own illustration studio in Bloomington, Minnesota, and pursued his specialties: Sports, celebrity portraiture, historical and action-adventure illustration. In 1985 Dick was selected by the National Republican Inaugural Committee to create the illustrations for three double truck ads in U.S.A. TODAY heralding President Reagan's second inauguration. Silk screened prints of those montage illustrations of presidents Washington, Lincoln and Reagan were presented to president Reagan and his cabinet. Education:	Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota.
