Later, as an adult, I took classes in oil painting and collage. I learned to sew and made original and unique garments, costumes, dolls, and decoration. After marriage and the birth of my two children, I settled into a combined career of yoga teacher, massage therapist, and esthetician. During those years I created a rejuvenating treatment for the face that was nationally and internationally successful. I wrote a book about it and developed it into a course that I taught to thousands of professional massage therapists and estheticians. The years of working on faces and bodies in a clinical setting contributed greatly to my easy transition to sculpting the human body.
My artistic intent is to express metamorphosis, a subject which deeply provokes creation in me. I study faces intently and search for the anima, the evolution, and the intrigue of life that has been inscribed upon them. As an esthetician, I am fascinated by every face I encounter.
